Allow me to take you on a journey of hidden treasures and delights. The name of this gem of an island is Gozo. Gozo is the sister isle of Malta which is a 25 minute ferry ride away from Malta itself. As you reach the harbour Mgarr, your eyes feast upon a setting of traditional architecture, old and modern restaurants and taverns which will appeal to an array of age groups. There is a constant service of taxis and car rentals to take you to your chosen destination.

The Gozitans are very friendly and informative and willingly direct you if you are in doubt of where to go and how to get there.
One of the first things that became apparent to me was their genuine pleasure in introducing you to their island. The Gozitans are proud and happy people and there is a warm and safe atmosphere wherever you go. The island is 9 miles long. How cool is that! Wherever you go it doesn't take a big part of your day to get there. Dwejra, was the first beach friends who are fortunate enough to live there introduced me to, an inland sea cove. |
